Kaukauna Public Library Honors MMIW Awareness Day
The Kaukauna Public Library created a display of books, videos, and a red dress to honor Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives Day, highlighting the crisis of violence affecting Indigenous communities.
The initiative, inspired by Savanna’s Act, aims to raise awareness beyond Indigenous communities and foster healing through education and remembrance.
