Teaming Up for College Readiness

Tuesday, June 23, 2015 - 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Appleton Public Library, meeting room A/B/C

Students entering post-secondary education need to know how to navigate, evaluate, present, and create information. What can those of us who work with school age students do to ensure that our students begin college with the skills they need to conduct and present college level research?

Join us for a session on information literacy collaboration between secondary and post-secondary educators where we will start a conversation on how to prepare students to be confident and successful 21st century college level researchers.

A panel of post-secondary educators will present and answer questions during the first two hours. The third hour is for attendees to collaborate and create/re-create research lessons based on insights learned during the panel presentation.
